My name is Mahsa Madouei, I am Iranian and have started my volunteering ESOL teacher assistant job in PARCA since last month. I moved to the UK in 2022 with my husband and son from Turkey, where we lived there nearly for 5 years. I have been working as an ESOL teacher (English for speakers of other languages) for 10 years but working with a non-profit and multi-cultural organization such as PARCA, is my first experience, found highly adorable and exciting. By joining PARCA, I have learnt how to respect people apart from their background, language, age and religion to ensure them value their differences.
I have always had a dream of working as a volunteer and fortunately now I am where I wanted to be. I don’t want to miss this sense of being useful since this is what makes my life more meaningful. There is an irreplaceable joy in helping people that could easily encourage me to keep going and never give up.
Now I am an unstoppable girl with a bag of experience and goals that never let anything stand in my way of serving people. I wish all people around the world, the life they deserve.
